Little Mill fought hard and came up short against Piney Grove. Piney Grove made some key plays and pulled off an 18-13 victory. Little Mill was in a position to take a 7-6 lead into half time, but Piney Grove scored on a well-executed pass play to steal the lead back. Piney Grove increased the lead in the second half, but Little Mill did not give up and scored an exciting touchdown on a pass play from Jackson Nichols to Gavin House. Little Mill was in a position to potentially win the game late in the fourth, but a fumble around the ten yard line ended the threat. Piney Grove was able to run out the clock and seal the win.
