Day one of the 7th grade Forsyth County Middle School Basketball Championship Tournament is in the books. In a small upset on the girls side 9 seed Liberty advances defeating the 8 seed Lakeside 33-25. In other girls action 7 seed Riverwatch defeated 10 seed Otwell 39-19 to move to the second round. In Boys action 8 seed DeSana held off a late run to advance over 9 seed Little Mill 25-21, and to end round one 7 seed Piney Grove was taken to overtime by 10 seed Otwell. The Grizzlies held off the Bulldogs barrage of 3 pointers to win 60 – 56 in the final seconds of OT. The bracket has been updated to reflect tonight’s results 2019 – 20 7th Basketball Bracket.
