The Lakeside Lions traveled to the South Forsyth Middle to take on cross neighborhood rival the Eagles. Lakeside opened the game with a long drive behind their powerful running attack to go up 8-0. The lead was extended to 28-7 at half. To make sure there was no doubt in the outcome, the Lions scored on their first possession of the second half. South played hard, but ultimately fell short to the Lions fierce bite and the final score was 36-19.
The Lions will travel to Little Mill Middle School next Tuesday Sept. 10th to try and continue their undefeated season, and the Eagles will travel to Piney Grove. Photos courtesy of Dave Uidel
